Each discharged container is subjected through algorithms before
allotting their stack. Import containers are stacked based on
the drayage companies, BCOs, premium or general or refrigerated
or dangerous cargo, container length etc
Depending on the existing level of automation in the terminal,
the stacking criteria in the algorithms can be adjusted to
achieve maximum yard space utilization.
Containers densities within storage blocks, storage block
proximity and stacking yard cranes operational readiness are
considered in real time before stacks are being allotted.
Exports Stacking
Every export container entering the terminal is subjected
through algorithms before their destination stack is decided
Stack selection criteria include destination port, shipping
line, empty / full, container size, weight category, cargo type
and priority etc.
This intelligent stacking prepares ground for the vessel
planning system to auto generate dig free loading plans.
Peel piles
Realizing Peel piles, which is the most efficient work flow in a
container terminal, is a reality with YugaPort
Every Import container when needed to be delivered to a truck or
rail can be at the peel layer
Similarly every export container when it needs to be sent for
loading into the vessel can be at the peel layer.
